There are lots of theories out there for Pick 4 games.

Unfortunately, most of it tests out as bad advice.

In this section, I tell you what we do. I’ll also share
with you over time theories that other members have
or have told us about.

In Pick 4 you have numbers 0-9. Each number can
be repeated. So you can have a result such as 1234
or 1111.

There are two ways to bet on Pick 4. Straight, you
get all the numbers in the exact order. Box, you have
all the numbers correct, but not in any particular order.

There are a total of 10,000 combinations with the breakdown of the following:
5,040 sets with all four digits different (3567),
4,320 sets with one digit doubled (2559),
270 sets with 2 digits doubled (4477),
360 sets with 1 triple + 1 digit (2212),
10 sets of quads (1111)

We can look at it another way also:
625 combinations (6.25%) are all odd. Example.: 3579
625 combinations (6.25%) are all even. Example.: 0246
2,500 combinations (25%) have 3 odd and 1 even number. Example.:
1592
2,500 combinations (25%) have 3 even and 1 odd numbers. Example.:
0685
3,750 combinations (37.5%) are equally even and odd. Example.: 6937

To hit a straight Pick 4 drawing your odds are 1:10,000.

The odds in the “BOX” combinations run from 1:2500 to 1:416
depending on the type of box combination you play.

Most theories rely on false assumptions. We always
test an assumption before we bet with it.

In the next article I’ll tell you how we play Pick 4.

How did we do it?

Let me tell you.

In Pick 3 there are 1000 winning straight combination’s and there are 220 box combination’s.

So the simplest way to look at this game is by using the box combinations.

The first step is to look at the history of the winning box combinations. To do this we load up the LotterySlayer program with the latest Pick 3 results file and then sort the 4000+ winning numbers in the file to show us what combinations have been drawn, how many times they were drawn, and the last time that they were drawn.

We could stop here and take the list of last time they were drawn, determine the average number of draws per combination, and then go to our list of combinations and sort it by dates to find the combinations that have not been drawn in that number of days.

Let me give you an example. Let’s say I determine that the most often drawn box combinations are drawn every 145 draws. I could go to my LotterySlayer list of past combination winnners and look for combinations that are often drawn and have not been drawn in 145 draws. I would then play those combinations.

But I took this one step further. I took my results list for Pick 3 ( my csv file) and loaded it into a Bonus program we offer in our Members Only are and look at the number of days between draws of a combination (box) of 3 numbers. So what this means is we take a list and one line by one line look at that draw. Say the first draw in the list was 123, the program will look for any combination of 123 and tell you how many days since it was last drawn. It then does this for every winning line in the file. At the end you can see where the most draws are base not on the combinations but on the number of days since they were last drawn. I know this is a little complicated but bare with me.

As it turns out the most often drawn combinations (based on days since drawn) are those that have not been drawn in 90 to 110 days ago. Now you go back to the LotterySlayer program and arrange your list results by date and look at the combinations drawn ( but never repeated again) from 90 to 100 days ago.

I took the combinations with high repeat numbers (20 repeat draws minimum) and played those for a box draw.

Over 14 days, I won the Pick 3 four times by this method. I’ve used the same method on Pick 4 with good results also.

Currently we are expanding our research into these combinations searches base on past history of the # of draws since last drawn with excellent results so far.

Pick three is a lottery game in which one need to select any three digit number within the limit of 000 to 999 to make a bet. You can play Pick three in various ways like straight, boxed, front pair, back pair, split pair, six-way wheel bet, and three way wheel bet.

Like in every game, pick three lotteries also holds equivalent chances of wining and loosing but people who are playing this game since long have come up with several strategies and tricks to win the game easily. These strategies can be used by others as well by just being a little intelligent and sharp to increase the chances of winning the game.

The most important thing to raise the chances of your win is to select the perfect winning number. Key to win any game is the confidence and faith of the player. Therefore, if the person participating in the pick three lottery game have trust and playing with his instincts he/she will no doubt raise the chances of his or her win. In the Pick three lottery the numbers are drawn randomly. Hence, any number can be the perfect winning combination of digits. Whatever number you select to play the game, be confident about it and stick to it till last
.
People expert in playing pick three lottery recommend selecting numbers that are not alike, as the odd numbers have higher getting in draw. For example instead of picking up 99 or 22, if you will make a combination of 92 or 29 it will have higher chances to make you win the game. It is been observed that straight numbers come up more frequently, such as 234, 678, 789. Hence, it is recommend trying to pick up simple and straight combination of digits rather then making it complicated and wasting your energy to come up with some extra ordinary or strange combination of digits to be a winner.

By: Professor Dolph

When it comes to improving your chances of winning the lottery, there are really only two things you can do.

1. Buy more tickets.
2. Improve your odds of winning.

For example, if the odds of winning the lottery jackpot are 1:2,500,000, you can improve your chances of winning to 1:100,000 if you buy 25 wagers. But, for those of us who would prefer to use our brain rather than our money, we use lottery software to improve our chances of winning the lottery jackpot before we spend money on wagers.

Obviously, method #2 is preferable because it allows you to stretch your lottery budget while maintaining similar coverage of all possible wagers. In other words, if you can improve your odds of winning to 1:100,000 using various lottery number analysis techniques, then you only have buy 1 wager to have the same odds. So, if you’re a Serious Lottery Player, purchasing some good lottery software is a no-brainer. It pays for itself in a couple of weeks.

An intelligent lottery player tries to cover as many of the possible winning wagers as possible. I call this your Lottery Footprint or LFP. Environmentalists use a similar term, Carbon Footprint, to describe the effect each of us has on global warming. However, the environmentalists want a small Carbon Footprint and Serious Lottery Players want a large Lottery Footprint. The larger the LFP the better your chances of winning are.

I’ve created a simple formula for LFP that we can use to compare different lottery strategies. It incorporates both approaches mentioned above. Here’s the formula.

LFP = tickets purchased /# of possible wagers in Millions

Since we would like to control our budget, we will try to keep the numerator small. So, we’ll concentrate on reducing the size of the denominator; the number of possible wagers. In this article we’ll use the Massachusetts Cash WinFall, 6/46 lottery.

Everybody playing the MA646 lottery starts out with 9,366,819 possible wagers from which to choose. For the purposes of using the LFP, we will use 9.366819 in the formula. If the player buys 1 wager:

LFP = 1/9.366819 = 0.107

The easy way to improve our coverage of the MA646 lottery, increase our LFP, would be buy more wagers. For example, buying 25 wagers results in an LFP of 2.67; indicating that our coverage has improved.

But, how does the Serious Lottery Player reduce the number of possible wagers? Simple. It’s called a reduced Play List. Unlike everyone else in Massachusetts who is playing a 6 out of 46 game, our guy is playing a different game. Lets’ suppose that by using his lottery software to analyze the lottery, he is convinced that the number 38 will not hit in the next drawing. He will not play any wager that has the number 38.

I know, you’re thinking, ‘No big deal.’ and are about to stop reading. BUT, WAIT! It is a big deal. This simple act of removing 1 number from play has removed 1,221,759 wagers from play! That’s over a MILLION wagers. You see, while everyone else in Massachusetts is playing a 6/46 lottery, our guy is playing a 6/45 game. His odds of winning the lottery jackpot are now 1:8,145,060. This is reflected in a 15% improvement in the LFP.

LFP = 25/8.14506 = 3.07

But, why stop there. Serious Lottery Players, that follow my lottery strategies, will apply what I call the 80% rule. They will create a Play List that has 36 numbers (80% of 46). The odds of winning a 6/36 lottery are 1:1,947,792 and out LFP is 12.84. That’s a phenomenal 380% improvement in LFP.

LFP = 25/1.947792 = 12.84

Now, the more numbers we remove, the greater are the chance of removing one of the winning numbers. But, we counter this with lottery trend analysis techniques. In other words, we do a good job of selecting the numbers to include in our list. I’ll freely admit that it doesn’t work every time, but over the long haul, and experienced player will do much better.

Just one more point, before I send you off to buy some good Lottery Software. I wonder how much money the average Massachusetts player would have to spend to achieve the same LFP that our Serious Lottery Player did? Well, we just use the LFP formula in reverse.

$ spent = 12.84 x 9.366819 = $120

There are many more things that a Serious Lottery Player can do to increase his LFP even further, but I’ll save those for the next thousand articles.

Good luck and I hope You Win the Big One.

By: Daniel Millions

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to win the lottery? Let’s face it: there are plenty of individuals who dream about winning the lottery, but few who dream about it actually win.

The first issue that one should keep in mind when playing the lottery, whether it’s the UK Lottery, the United States Lottery, or any other lottery throughout the world, is that your chances are very slim. However, this is probably most of what attracts many individuals around the world to take part in national and state lotteries in the first place.

A second, and perhaps most important, issue that one should think carefully about before playing the lottery is how much winning a national or state lottery will change their life. There are many true stories about individuals who have struck it rich by winning millions of dollars in the lottery, but then somehow losing it all in fame, fortune, or even death.

For example, there are several cases where individuals have won plenty of money in the lottery, but for whatever reason have declared bankruptcy a few years later! This could have resulted from carelessness with spending the lottery winnings, but another possibility is that lottery winners may be robbed of their money!

If one just thinks for a moment at how much publicity they’ll receive from winning the lottery and how much their friends and families attitudes will change towards them if they actually win the lottery, then chances are that those who have already won would take it all back if they had the chance to!

On the other hand, there are so many great things and accomplishments that one can take on if he or she wins the lottery. Considering the fact that national lotteries and even state lotteries have very high stakes then this means that an individual usually probably ends up winning over a million dollars or more!

Not only would you be able to put away some money for your children’s college fund, but you’d probably also be able to put money away for your grand children’s college fund, as well as for many other things, including vacations, retirements, new houses for yourself and your family, and even new cars if desired. Retirement is also another issue that is usually saved up for after the lottery has been won, as well as saving for vacations, extra houses, and even brand new automobiles!

As mentioned, though, chances of actually winning the lottery are very, very slim. In other words, you are essentially spending the income that you now have on lottery chances when you could be spending the money on other very important things, like food, clothing, or necessary bills.

Many people don’t realize how much their spending on lottery tickets actually stacks up, but when you calculate the amount that a person spends in a whole year or more on lottery tickets alone the savings could be very huge for someone who lives paycheck-to-paycheck.

Yet, there are millions of people who play the lottery either daily or weekly with no qualms or regrets about it at all. All things considered, winning the lottery can be a great thing for practically everyone. Knowing some of the risks that come with playing and actually winning the lottery, though, is something that must be thought about!

The Great Wall of China is one of mankind’s greatest achievements and its history is closely tied into that of the first lottery. In the 2nd century B.C.E. the ruling Han Dynasty of China started to build the Great Wall of China to protect the country from northern invaders. Upon realizing that this would be a costly project, the Han Dynasty created a public lottery to help finance the major project.

Later in the Roman Empire, wealthy families would hold lotteries as a game or a gimmick during parties. All of the guests who entered the party would receive a lottery ticket and prized would be drawn to entertain the guests. While they often offered luxurious prizes all party goers were assured of winning something.

The Dutch were the first Europeans to implement a monetary prize only lottery and base prizes on odds. The first Dutch lottery offered small prizes but very good odds as one in four people won. The lottery proved to be very accepted, and was hailed as a painless way to collect taxes or raise money for government. In the Netherlands the lottery was used to raise money to support poor people, build dikes, and to construct defense fortifications. The English word lottery stems from the Dutch word loterij, which is derived from the Dutch noun lot meaning fate. The Dutch National Lottery is the oldest still existing lottery.

Competing companies were constantly trying to patent their innovations to gain an advantage over their competitors. The first state lottery was started by New Hampshire in 1964. In 1988 the Multi-State Lottery Association was formed with 7 original members to create the Powerball Lottery. Today there are Lotteries in 42 states and the District of Columbia.
